Third book in Forest County series released
While the ideas have been percolating in his mind for years, J. R. Rauschert has finally captured them in a series of novels set in fictional Forest County. His first book, Past Forgetting, told the transformation of a young man who reluctantly takes a job in a nursing home.
His second book, Window Pains, is about a Vietnam veteran who faces challenges and obstacles unlike any he witnessed in the war.
His newest book, Another Chance, is about a teacher who wants to make a difference in the world after a wrenching tour in Vietnam. He starts an alternative high school and attempts to instruct at-risk teens in lessons of life and learning.
